HepatoPredict requires standard FFPE prepared samples from either needle biopsy or surgical explant of one patient, specifically 1 H&E and 2 FFPE tumor tissue sections. HepatoPredict is offered as a laboratory assay to be performed by the local pathology laboratory or as a service to be performed at our central lab.
Local Testing
Patient samples will be analysed locally at your institution. One HepatoPredict kit provides all the reagents needed to run one patient sample from RNA isolation to gene expression signature evaluation by RT-PCR. The estimated hands-on time is 5 hours. The HepatoPredict model runs on MyOphiomics, a cloud-based platform, where the test report will be made available in less than 24h. The kit is made available by authorised distributors for specific geographies.
Central Testing
Patient samples will be collected by Ophiomics to be processed at our central laboratory. The test result will then be made available at the platform MyOphiomics. The requisitioner can follow the order and sample processing on the platform.
